Tours

South African Motorcycle Tours offers a range of tours well suited to the local climate, road conditions and easy to fit into your holiday itinerary.

One, two or seven day tours from Cape Town can be arranged with or without a guide on a bike. While we recommend particularly scenic and interesting destinations for these tours, you are entirely at liberty to request your own routes. These shorter trips are particularly attractive to people on holiday in Cape Town who do not wish to spend their entire time on a motorcycle. Our twelve day tour will take you through some of the most spectacular country in South Africa.

All the bikes are excellently maintained BMW's F650GS, F800GS, Gs1150 and Gs1200

"We have been operating motorcycle tours from Cape Town for 16 years"

The minimum age of 28 applies to all motorcycle rentals. Drivers must have full motorcycle license.

Namibia / Cruise / South Africa Tour
One day one of the tour you board the Royal Mail Ship St. Helena in Cape Town (your bike has already been loaded) and depart on a relaxed three day cruise to Walvis Bay in Namibia. An ideal way to get to know fellow bikers over a few duty free drinks with no necessity to drive.
In Namibia we spend a day viewing game at one of the world's finest game viewing sites in the Otjiwrongo National Park. Then traveling south through Namibia you pass through extraordinary coloured rock strewn deserts, ranching country, the capital Windhoek and finally the Fish River Canyon which is the second largest in Africa. Crossing the Orange river you enter South Africa, visit the old copper mining town of O'Kiep, pass the lovely Cederberg mountains and finally enter the fertile Western Cape region and Cape Town.
This tour is for the stronger motorcyclist and people experienced on gravel roads.
